Southern Baptist Convention General Endowment

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a missional organization that enables a network of over 47,500 churches and another 4,500 mission churches (churches that have not yet established their autonomy as self-governing congregations) scattered across the United States and its territories to push back lostness in a cooperative venture. The Convention is organized missionally around a set of specific ministries including the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board.

International Mission Board General Endowment

IMB partners with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are evangelizing, discipling, planting, and multiplying healthy churches, and training leaders among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. Every believer has a part to play in the Great Commission, and IMB is dedicated to forging the pathways necessary to connect each church with the work of missionary teams across the globe.

IMB Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

In the 1800s, a missionary named Lottie Moon wrote letters from China urging American churches to fund more overseas workers. After Lottie’s death on the mission field, an offering was started in her name. The offering was established to empower international missions efforts for Southern Baptists.

North American Mission Board General Endowment

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) helps equip churches to be on mission in their own communities and across the continent. Through compassion ministry, church planting, chaplaincy and disaster relief, NAMB helps congregations go to the lost and hurting.

NAMB Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is the primary way Southern Baptists support mission efforts in North America. It has been an annual offering benefitting missionaries and their work of sharing the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ since 1895. Named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a passionate Southern Baptist advocate of missions who lived 1850-1938, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering comprises 49 percent of NAMB’s total annual support.
